Withdraw from the contract here

You can notify withdrawal without an account. The existing form lets you choose a refund, another product, another size or a voucher. Exchanges and vouchers are agreed with your consent, depending on availability and the communicated conditions; you are not required to accept them instead of a refund.

If the product is defective, incorrect or does not conform, tell us: the request is handled under your conformity rights, rather than as a simple change of mind with transport at your expense.

Who is eligible and when the 14 days begin

The consumer — a natural person purchasing outside their professional activity — may notify withdrawal from a distance contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. For goods from the same order delivered separately, the period runs from receipt of the last item; for goods delivered in lots or pieces, from the last lot or piece.

It is sufficient to send the declaration before the period expires. You may also send it before delivery. Failure to provide the mandatory information may extend the period under Article 10 of Emergency Ordinance (OUG) No. 34/2014. The right does not depend on the store’s prior approval.

Professional purchases and purchases made in a physical store do not automatically carry this change-of-mind right. Any defect or lack of conformity is assessed separately.

How to notify us

Use the online withdrawal function, e-mail contact@alphaboat.ro or a clear declaration sent by post to OUTDOOR GEAR SRL, str. Amurgului nr. 1, Corbu, Constanța County, Romania. The model below is optional. Keep proof of sending.

Provide your name, the goods and enough details to identify the contract. The order reference is helpful, but an invoice, photographs, a reason, a customer account or an IBAN are not conditions for notifying withdrawal. In the online form, confirm the declaration using “Confirm withdrawal”; you receive confirmation with the declaration, date and time by e-mail, and proof can be downloaded.

Returning the goods and transport costs

Send or hand over the goods without undue delay, within no more than 14 days of notifying withdrawal, unless we have offered to collect them. The deadline is met if you send them before it expires.

The return location available in the form is Corbu Warehouse: OUTDOOR GEAR SRL, str. Amurgului nr. 1, Corbu, Constanța County, Romania. If several locations are displayed, choose one and use the confirmed address for that location. Do not automatically send the goods to the manufacturer or a parcel locker. Personal handover must be arranged in advance so that we can ensure the goods can be received.

For a change-of-mind return, the customer pays the direct cost of return transport. If we have expressly agreed a free return, we honour that agreement. Choose a carrier suitable for the product and keep proof of dispatch. Sending without cash on delivery allows normal receipt; the price is refunded separately. No fixed processing or “restocking” fee is charged.

For goods that cannot be returned as an ordinary parcel, including boats, certain engines and boat trailers, the direct cost or maximum estimate of the return must be communicated for the product and destination before the contract is concluded. The delivery charge is not automatically the return charge. If you were not informed as required by law of the obligation to bear this cost, we will not charge it to you.

Pack the goods appropriately and return the accessories received. Original packaging is recommended, but its absence does not automatically invalidate withdrawal. You may photograph the product and parcel before handover. In the situation covered by law where goods are delivered to your home when an off-premises contract is concluded and cannot normally be returned by post, collection is our responsibility.

When and how you receive your refund

We refund the amounts due without undue delay, within no more than 14 days of being informed of your withdrawal. Unless we have offered to collect the goods, we may withhold the refund until we receive them or proof of dispatch, whichever is earlier.

For full withdrawal, we also refund the cost of the standard delivery we offered. The supplement for a more expensive delivery option expressly chosen is not refunded. For a partial return, we determine the refundable cost in relation to the products returned and the particular circumstances, without an automatic penalty.

We use the same payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without fees to you. For cash payments, we may agree on cash or bank transfer. If you choose a voucher or exchange, we separately communicate the value, any differences, transport and applicable conditions. We do not issue a voucher instead of money without agreement.

Inspecting the product and diminished value

You may check the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods in a way comparable to the examination allowed in a store. Actual use for work, in the field or on the water, damage, persistent soiling or missing accessories may go beyond this examination and may diminish the value.

We individually assess the condition and the link between handling and loss of value. If we claim diminished value, we provide the findings, evidence and proportionate calculation. We do not apply automatic fixed percentages, and the findings may be challenged. We do not claim diminished value if we have not provided the legally required withdrawal information.

Exceptions to withdrawal are only those in Article 16 of Emergency Ordinance (OUG) No. 34/2014, applied to the particular case: for example, goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, or certain sealed goods that have been unsealed and cannot be returned for genuine health or hygiene reasons. A standard size, simply ordering from a supplier, a discount, the label “special order” or the category “consumable” are not exceptions on their own.
